Playing with Sights and Scenery

I was lucky enough to go to the UK a couple of months ago for a business trip. When I was there, I took some shots of London and Chester. I've been to London many times but never with a photographer's eye (or attempted!). London had the best weather in the last few times I was there; sunny, cloudless, perfect.

Here's a cool graffiti roll-up door and my best friend:

Below is a street in Chester at night. I love how the street lamps give a peaceful glow:

Alex and Zach

We visited friends of ours today that recently had twin boys! Even though it wasn't a photoshoot, I couldn't resist capturing the 2-week-olds! Alex has a bigger head than Zach and they both have the cutest expressions ever. I can't wait to photograph them again.

Landon

I had a chance to photograph a good friend's 9-month old recently. Landon has strawberry blond hair and the most beautiful eyes. He's a very active baby and recently learned to pull himself up on tables, people's legs, chairs .... which made it a little hard to photograph him but it was fun anyway! Landon loves to smile and laugh too, which made it interesting for capturing all different faces!

Frankie

I was supposed to photography the Barr family but Frankie (Frances) ended up being the model of the day! She is so adorable and absolutely loves being in front of the camera. Sometimes it's hard to capture the young ones because they move about so much but Frankie was a complete professional. It was cloudy outside, which was perfect weather for shooting outdoors. Even though her parents were not ready for the session, I managed to get a shot of Frankie and her mom, which ended up being one of my favorites!

The Brundage Family Photoshoot

The Brundages live down the road from me. They just recently welcomed a new addition to the family; Christopher Brundage! We wanted to catch some photos while he was still little and it was so much fun. Granted, he kept looking at me strange, like 'why is this lady always in my face?' I can't wait to take more photos when he's a little bigger, especially when he learns to smile! He can *almost* smile now, and has the cutest yawn! We took some photos indoors and then outside on the lawn. It was a really sunny day so it was tricky trying to get the correct lighting and I sure learned a lot that day! Here are some of my favorites:
